New Year, New Targets

In the spirit of the new year, we asked ASTRA employees and board members to share their goals for 2019. Here’s what they shared:

Kimberly Mosley, president: I no longer make New Years resolutions due to the fact every day is an chance. A new day complete of possibilities. I try to commit each and every day getting grateful for the beauty of a new starting, curious about the globe about me and mindful of the straightforward joys in life.

Dee Farrell, ASTRA board chair: My purpose is to assist HAPE construct brand awareness, specially with consumers. We know shoppers stroll in stores and ask for particular brands. We’re functioning to make the HAPE brand one that consumers ask for.

Robyn Foster, membership coordinator: In 2019 I am operating on mindfulness and physical strength. Which will include 365 days of journaling, meditation and of course lifting some heavy products!

Sue Warfield, director of member relations: I have set a purpose of reading 1 book a month that is non-fiction and will be inspirational, supply specialist information, nudge me to see some thing from a diverse perspective and/or discover new capabilities. January’s book is Michelle Obama’s Becoming

Cynthia Compton, ASTRA board member: This is going to be the year of RELATIONSHIPS. We are hunting for new ways to connect with our clients via programming, unique events, and preferred client programs. We are proposing new programs and partnerships with our vendors and makers, picking to commit our time and dollars with these firms that are interested in partnering with us. And we are expanding ways that we communicate with our sales reps and preserve them informed about our organization including involving more of our staff in purchasing and managing lines. RELATIONSHIPS. It’s what we’re very good at, and where we have the most chance to succeed.

Ahren Hoffman, director of education and coaching: I need to have to/have to drink far more water. I’m arranging on slicing up lemons and other fun fruits/veggies to add to my water. I also downloaded the free app Water Tracker Every day to make drinking water purposeful.

Dina Velasquez, director of meetings and events: My resolution for this year is to shop less, discover my forever residence and settle in with my fur babies.

Betty Skoke Burns, ASTRA board member: My resolution for Angellina’s in 2019 is to reflect on, honour, and get back to our roots. I am going to identify the places in our organization that made us what we are nowadays and work on strengthening and honouring them. We have grown so a lot, and our success is since of the powerful foundation in which our business was founded- items like client service, quality curated merchandise, and neighborhood mindedness. Getting forward-pondering, also means using a compass that is embedded in your past. I think being aware of your roots gives you a sturdy sense of identity, and that is one thing I strategy to foster in 2019.

Dee Marsden, associate manager, marketing and advertising and communications: I’m aiming to take time to document moments from every day (no matter how mundane or how incredible!) regardless of whether it is by taking photographs, writing, or playing music.

Nicole Peavy, office administrator: My 2019 resolution is to not produce any specified” resolutions. I plan to commit 2019 continuing to take pleasure in life!
